In Codex CLI, once a response is rendered, sending the next prompt causes parts of the previously rendered output to disappear

What steps can reproduce the bug?

ask codex to generate 5 random numbered bullet points, and keep asking again 4 or 5 times and you will start noticing previous output truncated

What is the expected behavior?

previously rendered output remains immutable
