- There is no way to know/view (see) the progress of a running shell command
- We cannot even stop it or cancel it
- Antigravity has this feature despite it's flaw we can see the output of shell and cancel if necessary this should be been a priority

I have to disagree because in this case user cannot proceed with any other prompt
there's no way to know what's happening in the background or even STOP IT.
not to mention this shell hand is causing another issue if user try to close exit codex it automatically keep reopen not closing
because the commands are still running in background
