What issue are you seeing?
During compaction I keep getting the error: "Error running remote compact task: timeout waiting for child process to exit". This is happening frequently for me, especially during longer running tasks.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
I don't have a reliable set of steps to reproduce, but it is quite frequent for me. Once it is in this state it is unrecoverable. Even a manual /compact after the failure will result in the same error.

Compact finishes without error
