What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

26.5401.11717

What subscription do you have?

paid

What platform is your computer?

win 11

What issue are you seeing?

the moment you ask a question in the codex plugin chatbox it commits a .codex file in the root of my repo, I cannot leverage this file nor do I wan tto add it to git ignore, this started happening in the march 28th version and it is pretty annoying , either give me a way to move the file out of my repo, turn off itsd usage or giv e me a way to actuallyleverage the content of the file and addit to my repo as ausefull file, Thanks !

What steps can reproduce the bug?

ask a question int he chat box inside a working repo

What is the expected behavior?

it shodlnt commit that file at all, oir if its a reqwuired file it shoudl let me move it out of my repo, but its a zero byte file it contains nothign, because it serves me no purpose this file shoudlnt be in my repo noir shoudl I have to add it to gitignore everytime a plugin wishes to commit files.
