Can you say more about what you mean by "put a paragraph in". Do you mean that you're trying to enter a line ending (LF), and you need to use Shift+Enter twice to get a single LF?

I'm not able to repro this. Can you provide any additional repro details? Are you using VS Code, Cursor, or another fork? Which keyboard layout are you using? Did this work for you in previous versions of the Codex IDE Extension?

Yeah.

VS code, Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.22631.0 x64, PT-PT keyboard. I reckon it was still happening in the previous version.

If you can look into this would be cool too. https://github.com/openai/codex/issues/16459

Cheers.

I'm guessing this is related to the keyboard layout. If you switch to a U.S. English Keyboard layout, does the problem persist?

I'll check in a bit.

It stopped, I reckon it was induced by something else on my computer for sure.

Thanks!
