Observed on April 7, 2026: Codex still shows "Tip: New 2x rate limits until April 2nd." This appears stale and confusing.\n\nRepro:\n1) Launch Codex CLI\n2) Observe startup tips/notice area\n\nExpected:\n- Expired, date-bound announcements are removed or replaced after expiry.\n\nActual:\n- Expired announcement is still displayed.\n\nRequest:\n- Please consider a small courtesy credit for the user who reported this stale production message.
