Native support for computer use

What feature would you like to see?

This is a very broad request, and I'm sure it's a part of the general OAI knowledge-work roadmap, but having codex have a native functionality for Operator-like computer-use, especially for the operating of non-browser GUIs like Windows apps would be awesome, especially since gpt-5.4 touts computer-use as one of its marketable traits.

Being able to spin up Codex in a VM with full OS-level interaction primitives—screen perception, mouse/keyboard control, and persistent desktop state—rather than being constrained to a terminal or browser sandbox
