Codex quota usage is being consumed unusually fast on Plus plan (v5.4)

What issue are you seeing?

I am currently using Codex version 5.4 with the ChatGPT Plus plan.

Since recently, my Codex usage quota appears to be consumed much faster than before, even when performing small edits or simple requests.

Previously, similar tasks consumed significantly less quota, but now the usage decreases noticeably after only a few interactions.

This behavior started recently and feels different compared to normal usage patterns from previous days.

I am mainly performing typical development tasks such as:

• small code edits
• short requests
• limited file modifications

However, both the 5-hour quota and overall usage seem to decrease faster than expected.

Could you please check whether this is expected behavior after recent usage metering changes, or if there might be an issue with quota tracking on my account?
