What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

Version 26.409.20454 (1462)

What subscription do you have?

Pro 20X

What platform is your computer?

Darwin 25.3.0 arm64 arm

What issue are you seeing?

Clicking a MP4 mentioned in the conversation shows this garbage text data from the binary.

As a contrast, clicking an image metioned in the conversation shows an image decoded correctly.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Have Codex generate a MP4 of some sort from a task and mention it. Click on the mp4 file in the task conversation. Get binary text garbage.

What is the expected behavior?

In the past, it opened it in Finder so I could view it or maybe QuickTime or something, idk. Whatever it did, it didn't show garbage.
