What steps can reproduce the bug?

I’m seeing repeated garbled terminal/UI output in Codex that looks like corrupted streamed text rather than a valid model response.

Observed behavior:

During or after task execution, Codex sometimes displays long nonsensical mixed-language/token strings.
The text does not correspond to repo files, test output, or a meaningful assistant response.
It appears as UI/stream corruption rather than task content.
This makes it hard to trust intermediate visible output.

Impact:

I cannot reliably distinguish valid in-progress output from corrupted stream text.
It creates confusion during coding tasks and review.

What would help:

Confirm whether this is a known Codex UI/streaming issue.
Share any mitigation steps.
Clarify whether only completed/final output should be trusted when this happens.

Repro context:

Happened during multi-step coding work with terminal/test output in Codex.
Normal git/test commands were being run when the garbled text appeared.

Please investigate as a possible streaming/rendering bug.
