26.409.20454

What subscription do you have?

Plus

What platform is your computer?

Windows 25H2

What issue are you seeing?

The new codex UI style looks inconsistent, unprofessional and a bit ugly on Windows:
Fullscreen:
<img width="2559" height="1438" alt="Image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/4adb0490-2bf9-4d91-b8c9-2df529685a7f" />

Floating window:
<img width="1764" height="1084" alt="Image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/792dba0e-ab67-40ab-8132-ef8adbe5d3b3" />

It really looks weird, like some incorrectly rendered half broken css layout.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

  1. Open latest version of Codex on Windows
  2. Observe the UI design

What is the expected behavior?

The UI design looks at least somewhat consistent and professional
