Add "Confirm quit" option in settings

What variant of Codex are you using?

Macos App 26.409.20454 (1462)

What feature would you like to see?

I would like the app to just quit and close when I select "Quit" from the menu. It always pops up a "Are you sure you want to quit" dialog which is irritating. I'm sure it can check whether there are running tasks or something and only pop it up in that case?

Also it could be just a simple configuration item. Can you update on this ? It is disturbing the update workflow for the codex app for example on macos apple silicon and inherently decrease the user experience.

Would like to see this as well. I have disabled all settings for blocking, but app still doesn't close. I believe this is because I have automations. There are some hacky workarounds, but nothing quite satisfying. Would be great to have a setting along the lines of:

Confirm before quitting when scheduled tasks are enabled

Which I can then turn off. Ideally this isn't even conditional on threads running; it should just always quit. For me, getting OS updates installed at night is more important.
