What version of Codex is running?

0.10.0

Which model were you using?

gpt-4.1

What platform is your computer?

Linux Ubuntu 6.11.0-26-generic x86_64 x86_64

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Paste works with shift-control-V but selection of text the model shows inside the terminal cannot be selected. This is on standard Ubuntu Desktop and Terminal default.

What is the expected behavior?

It would make it so much easier if select and copy would be allowed from the Terminal to the Editor.

What do you see instead?

No text can be selected with the mouse. and shift-control-C does nothing.

To select text from history tab in version 0.10 and prior, you need to toggle mouse mode between scrolling(default) and selecting mode by executing /toogle-mouse-mode.
But this behaviour was changed in 0.11 version https://github.com/openai/codex/pull/1672

Yep, new UX in https://github.com/openai/codex/releases/tag/rust-v0.11.0 fixed this!
