Cut and Paste from Terminal

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Paste works with shift-control-V but selection of text the model shows inside the terminal cannot be selected. This is on standard Ubuntu Desktop and Terminal default.

What is the expected behavior?

It would make it so much easier if select and copy would be allowed from the Terminal to the Editor.

What do you see instead?

No text can be selected with the mouse. and shift-control-C does nothing.
