What issue are you seeing?
When codex runs a tool that needs my interaction, the experience is slow and wasteful. It bypasses validation gates in the tool without authorization, delays interactions with the tool by 10s of seconds, and eats tokens.
What steps can reproduce the bug?

What is the expected behavior?
Either cede the shell to the interactive tool, or tell me to run it.
