After updating to codex v0.11.0, backspace key deletes two characters instead of one. Using alacritty terminal on ubuntu.

Sorry, was an issue with alacritty, not codex
Having this issue on kitty term, how did you fix it?
You can fix this in kitty by adding:
map backspace send_text all \x7fTo
~/.config/kitty/kitty.conf
