Codex app in Windows - "New Chat" doesn't do anything

What issue are you seeing?

New chat does nothing. I can switch to other threads/projects that are already created and work in them.
However, if I click new chat it does nothing. I cant start a new thread anywhere.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Click "New chat" and nothing happens. When I put my cursor over "New chat" it doesn't even highlight the selection to show I have it selected.

What is the expected behavior?

It should highlight new chat when I put my cursor there. Click it should open a new chat.

Additional information

Further debug. If I go to search I can click the new chat that comes up and this indeed brings up a new chat. It appears the new chat selection is just broken in the left hand (top) side of the windows app. It's probably something easy to fix for our smart openAI devs :)
