UI frozen after update

What issue are you seeing?

After upgrading to 26.415.30602, clicking Send causes several seconds of UI stutter/freezing. This happens even in a brand-new thread by the second short message.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

1. Install Codex Desktop 26.415.30602.
2. Start a new thread.
3. Send "hello".
4. Send another short message.
5. Observe UI stutter/freezing for several seconds after clicking Send.

What is the expected behavior?

Short messages in a new thread should send without multi-second UI stalls.

Downgrading to 26.415.20818 fixes the problem immediately on the same machine. This also reproduced on another computer, so it does not appear to be machine-specific.
