Codex Desktop: Plugins page loses scroll position when navigating back from a plugin detail

Open 💬 1 comment Opened Apr 18, 2026 by Fenil-Patelll

Summary

On the Codex Desktop Plugins page, clicking a plugin opens its detail page. Using Back returns to the Plugins list, but the list is reset to the top instead of preserving the previous scroll position / location.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open Codex Desktop.
  2. Go to Plugins.
  3. Scroll down to a plugin that is not near the top (e.g., mid-list).
  4. Click the plugin to open its detail page.
  5. Click Back.

Expected

Return to the Plugins list at the same scroll position, with the previously selected plugin still in view.

Actual

Plugins list returns to the top (scroll position lost).

Environment

  • Codex Desktop version: 26.415.20818
  • OS: Windows

Impact

Makes browsing/adding multiple plugins tedious; user has to re-scroll to where they were.
