app UI apparently shows unavailable models

What issue are you seeing?

There are models in the dropdown apparently not actually available. As the UI does not expose any level of actual relative usage burn rates, I have to guess, but wanted to bump up for one task from 5.4-mini to GPT5.2-codex which is shown in the UI, but apparently not availalbe.

go ahead and complete changes, push updated functions to test and re-test and summarize per prior instructions.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Use macos codex app. Select each model and try to do work/issue commands. In this case select the Codex-5.2 variant, but there may be others.

What is the expected behavior?

Only actually usable models are shown in the dropdown - preferably in order of token or credit usage ascending.
