It's not the first time this happens, but it's actually quite simple to describe.

My shell profile rc is not being loaded correctly. I am using bash and have a comprehensive setup to load environments, aliases, shell functions, etc. Before the recent update everything was fine, but after the recent update, codex claims not to find the simplest programs.
