Codex App remote workspace bug

What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

26.413.11637

What subscription do you have?

enterprise

What platform is your computer?

Darwin 25.4.0 arm64 arm

What issue are you seeing?

Using Codex beta with a connected connection to a remote linux host, I will then open a new project. If I select the remote server, I see two problems

First, I cannot paste or type a path into the path textbox. I am only permitted to navigate around with mouse-clicks. This is painful.
Second, when I do succeed in navigating to root, then all the way into my workspace, the last directory in the path, the root of the workspace, is in capital letters and numbers. As an example, PROJECT_5_2_MAIN. When I select that in the dialog, I can see the correct case displayed. However after I open it, Codex shows the project rooted as "project_5_2_main" in the side-bar, and I later find out that all of the tools believe my workdir is in that case, and are failing to operate.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Attempt to open a workspace on a remote [unix] machine with an upper-case directory name. this may (or may not) require being on a Mac, as mac's typically use a case-insensitive file system.

What is the expected behavior?

The workspace will have the correct capitalization in all parts of the path.
