macOS 15.7.5 .macbook Air M4.

What issue are you seeing?

Opening the session in the mini window causes severe heating. Returning to the default window makes the temperature recover.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

  1. Open Codex Desktop.
  2. Start or open a session.
  3. Switch the session to the mini window.
  4. Wait briefly and observe system temperature / fan / Activity Monitor.
  5. Switch back to the default window.
  6. Observe that temperature and CPU usage return to normal.

What is the expected behavior?

Mini window should not cause sustained high CPU/GPU usage or abnormal heating when idle or lightly used.
