macOS: stray horizontal white overlay appears above Settings in the sideba

Darwin 23.6.0 arm64 macOS 14.8.5 (23J423)

What issue are you seeing?

A stray horizontal white rounded bar appears in the left sidebar, just above the "Settings" row.

It overlaps the conversation list area and looks like a detached overlay/rendering artifact. This breaks the sidebar layout visually and makes the UI look corrupted.

I attached a screenshot showing the issue.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

1. Open Codex on macOS.
2. Keep the left sidebar visible with recent conversations listed.
3. Navigate between threads and/or resize/open the sidebar during normal use.
4. Look at the lower part of the sidebar, above the "Settings" row.
5. A horizontal white rounded bar may appear and overlap the sidebar content.

What is the expected behavior?

The sidebar should render cleanly, without any floating horizontal overlay or overlapping UI artifact.
