Unable to change to a new workspace in Remote Linux server with Windows Codex app

What issue are you seeing?

Once a remote SSH connection is established to a Linux server, it shows an uneditable "Select folder" box. If i want to change it to a new workspace, example (/ws/some/directory), I have to select the Back button to go till / and then navigate to correct workspace, after which it shows error after few seconds - Timed out waiting for MCP response to fs/getMetadata while listing directories/files

What steps can reproduce the bug?

1. Setup SSH based remote Hosts.
2. Click "Add a remote project"
3. Try to navigate to a folder which is different from the one shown in text (usually the folder where codex app server is running remotely)
4. Error - Timed out waiting for MCP response to fs/getMetadata while listing directories/files

What is the expected behavior?

Provide a textbox to change the directory instead of navigating via back button.

Fix the Timeout error.
