What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?
26.422.30944
What subscription do you have?
Enterprise (Cisco)
What platform is your computer?
Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.26200.0 x64
What issue are you seeing?
Once a remote SSH connection is established to a Linux server, it shows an uneditable "Select folder" box. If i want to change it to a new workspace, example (/ws/some/directory), I have to select the Back button to go till / and then navigate to correct workspace, after which it shows error after few seconds - Timed out waiting for MCP response to fs/getMetadata while listing directories/files
What steps can reproduce the bug?
- Setup SSH based remote Hosts.
- Click "Add a remote project"
- Try to navigate to a folder which is different from the one shown in text (usually the folder where codex app server is running remotely)
- Error - Timed out waiting for MCP response to fs/getMetadata while listing directories/files
What is the expected behavior?
Provide a textbox to change the directory instead of navigating via back button.
or
Fix the Timeout error.
