Unable to change model on new chats

What issue are you seeing?

After Codex has been open for an indeterminate amount of time, occasionally new chats will be stuck with a preselected model. Changing the model manually doesn't update the ui. I have to manully force quit the app to get it to work again.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Just leave the window open for a while and maybe run a few chats.
