A bug from today's update -windows codex stuck at the codex logo page

The window codex app is stuck on the CODEX LOGO page.

What platform is your computer?

windows 11

What issue are you seeing?

The window codex app is stuck on the LOGO page.

New Codex version corrupted or broke the shared auth/session state
The Codex app and extensions could not initialize properly
Rolling back VS Code to the older working extension repaired/refreshed the shared auth/session
The standalone Codex app then started working again because it reused the repaired auth state

by the way, please do not play with it, I turn it on and off 5-10 times after it works, now it is white...

What steps can reproduce the bug?

try to use vs code to switch to a old version of codex to log in, and then go back to your new version of codex app in windows, and it will work!
