What steps can reproduce the bug?

Codex stalling when loading past chat history. I open Visual Studio Code. Codex stalls, unable to load past chat history. This issue started about a week ago. I need to re-open VS Code a couple of times and if I'm lucky, the chat history will load. But then if I click on a chat, it might open or not. Need to reload multiple times until it works. Also, one time I've lost the latest chat history. Had to restart from a chat history that was 2 days old.

What is the expected behavior?

When opening Visual Studio Code, previous chat history is available and usable.

I don’t know what error you’re getting, but try uninstalling the extension first and then installing the specific version.
