I was using it too, and I actually figured out how it worked. I ended up using around 10–20 billion tokens with GPT-5.5 (high tier).

At first, I reported the bug on the bug bounty platform, but they rejected it—so I just started using it instead.

Here’s how the glitch worked:

  • Create a new GPT account (don’t start any conversation).
  • Enable data sharing on platform.openai.
  • Then log in and open Codex or Codex CLI.
  • That’s it — you get unlimited access.

Enjoy your “unlimited” usage 😅 (well… not anymore).

I used about 2–5 accounts to avoid getting flagged, but they finally fixed it this morning.
