Improving code quality
What variant of Codex are you using?
App
What feature would you like to see?
Codex needs skills and tooling for improving code quality integrated into its default development workflow, so that users don't have to give direct instructions or create specific skills of their own to raise the quality of an end result.
On its own, Codex will start creating duplicate and disorganized code within a day of working on something, often despite the existing code review skills (that not all people might be using).
But this isn't necessarily a big problem. It's just that some basic principles and secondary workflows that experienced developers add into their work are separate from the immediate solving of a specific problem.
So, for it to work as a proper software engineer, it needs to also do the secondary tasks that software engineers do.

I'd personally differentiate it as:
- Prototyping Mode
- Software Engineering Mode
The first should figure out how to solve something or create a quick demo, and the second should handle it properly.
