I prepared a small docs-only patch for this:

https://github.com/Fental/codex/compare/main...docs/winget-install

It adds WinGet to:

README.md quickstart install options
docs/install.md as a Windows via WinGet section

The command used is:

winget install -e --id OpenAI.Codex

I also verified the package identifier against .github/workflows/rust-release.yml.

I couldn't open a PR because this repository currently limits PR creation to collaborators, but the branch is available if a maintainer wants to cherry-pick or open it internally.
