Codex Desktop flickers/shakes for several seconds when switching threads/projects. Video attached

What issue are you seeing?

After the latest Codex Desktop update, switching between threads/projects from the left sidebar causes the main work area to violently flicker/shake for ~5 seconds before the switch completes.

Happens more frequently when using keyboard shortcuts to switch.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Open Codex Desktop.
Use the left sidebar to switch to another thread/project.
Observe the main work area flickering/shaking before the new thread/project loads.

What is the expected behavior?

Switching should happen without visible flicker/shaking.
