Can't input new line in terminal opened inside vscode

What issue are you seeing?

Pressing "shift+enter" works when I use codex from Windows Terminal, but doesnt work in same terminal opened inside VsCode.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Open VSCODE
Open terminal
Launch codex
Try to write multi-line prompt

What is the expected behavior?

Pressing Shift+Enter inserts new line
