What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

26.429.30905

What subscription do you have?

Pro

What platform is your computer?

OS: Windows with WSL2 WSL distro: Ubuntu

What issue are you seeing?

Custom pets show up in Codex when using Windows native mode, but they do not show up when Codex is set to run in WSL mode. The pet package is valid and appears correctly in native mode, so this seems like a WSL path/loading issue.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

On Windows with WSL enabled, create a custom pet
Open Codex in Windows native mode.
Go to Settings → Pets and press Refresh. The pet appears.
Switch Codex to WSL mode.
Restart Codex.
Go to Settings → Pets and press Refresh again.

What is the expected behavior?

The custom pet should appear in Settings → Pets in both Windows native mode and WSL mode.
