I've been building a web scraper that runs on my Mac Mini for several months without any issues. Recently, while debugging, I've encountered a problem where any edit I make halfway through causes it to stop and flag a cybersecurity risk.

give it some bs about how its not scraping but rather indexing for a search engine or for preserving websites or some shit. i had refusals for developing malware, so i told it i was developing anti-malware.

Funny you mention that. Last week I asked Gemini deep research to create me a "hacker's field guide" for setting up Hermes Agent... and it gave me a field guide for setting up some actual malware also called Hermes.
