the same with the Codex CLI - seeing "timeout waiting for child process to exit" for every input attempt.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
it's failing in both active (with context) and new chats

I'm having this issue intermittently as well -- in my case it's "stream disconnected before completion: websocket closed by server before response.completed"
same issue. "stream disconnected before completion: An error occurred while processing your request. You can retry your request, or contact us through our help center at help.openai.com if the error persists."
it seems the problem is related to how your existing socket gets orphaned if your ip suddenly changes. mine got ghosted because vpn got activated accidentally during an active session.
