What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

Codex Desktop pet overlay loses always-on-top after opening a new window on Windows

What subscription do you have?

On Windows, the Codex pet/avatar overlay appears above other apps immediately after using Wake Pet, but when I open a new ordinary application window, the new window covers the pet. The pet does not return to the top unless I wake it again or interact with it.

What platform is your computer?

OS: Windows - Codex Desktop version: 26.429.8261.0 - Pet overlay enabled - Reproduces with newly opened normal windows

What issue are you seeing?

The pet is topmost only right after wake/open. Newly opened windows can cover it.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

his looks like the avatar overlay is moved to top when opened, but the topmost state is not maintained after subsequent window activation/creation on Windows.

What is the expected behavior?

The pet/avatar overlay should remain above normal application windows after new windows are opened.
