Summary

In the Codex Desktop app, the Token Limits section is visually clipped on the right side, so parts of the time/usage text are cut off and unreadable.

Environment

  • App: Codex Desktop
  • App version: 26.429.61741 (build 2429)
  • OS: macOS 26.4.1 (build 25E253)
  • CPU architecture: arm64 (Apple Silicon, Apple M4)
  • Display setup:
  • U34E2M — 2560 × 1080 @ 60 Hz (main display)
  • DELL P2416D — 2560 × 1440 @ 60 Hz
  • Display scaling / zoom: UI appears at native “Looks like” resolution (no additional scaling reported)
  • Window size/state: normal windowed usage (not fullscreen)

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open Codex Desktop.
  2. Open the panel/menu where Token Limits are shown.
  3. Look at the rows showing remaining time and percentage values.

Expected Behavior

All Token Limits values (time and percentages) should be fully visible.

Actual Behavior

The right side of the values is clipped/truncated, making parts of the text unreadable.

Frequency

Always

Additional Context

  • UI language is German in this setup.
  • Example visible clipping in the screenshot: the right-side time values are cut off.
