UX branch is incorrect according to Agent - confuses human

What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

What issue are you seeing?

UX is not showing the correct branch - misleading the human

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Start Codes, work from a previous session (chat), and notice the UX on master. attempt to switch and have an argument between what AI sees and what the human sees

What is the expected behavior?

show the branch that we are working on - ideally it should provide a button on what the "worktree" see using the CWD. I find that the worktree and branch are not typically one to one (which I know is the design), but not my convention in attempting to mange change (one repo, one CWD, one branch)
