What issue are you seeing?
The current update with changing edited numbers with an effect as in slot machines is so distracting, that I can't focus on anything else. I have ADHD, and with color numbers changing every 0,5s this is a dark pattern for capturing the attention and making me very distracted. Please, make an option to turn it off.
What steps can reproduce the bug?

Is there already a setting for this someone could point me to, like a "reduce motion" or specific toggle? I didn't find anything, and this is so distracting that I'll have to stop using Codex otherwise.
The only workaround I’ve found is to scroll up so that the “Codex is working” details are no longer visible.
In some projects this is barely noticeable, because the edits update only every several seconds, especially during longer thinking steps. In other projects, however, the numbers change almost every second and it's like going to Casino.
That constant visual change is very distracting. In my experience, it repeatedly pulls attention away from the task and can break the user’s flow, making it easy to lose track of what they were about to work on next.

@theoilie – update the app to the newest version. It seems that there's option "Reduce motion" and it works as expected. I will test this today and close the ticket, if it's working all right.
Nope, it didn't change a thing. In another project I still have the slotting machine effect. The previous message was mistake on my side – Codex just created a file in one move, and because of that I thought it's changed. But when I got back to the project where I edit the front-end – it stills behaves as if we were playing in the casino.
