macOS desktop: Settings / Local Work / Branch Switching buttons are all no-op

What platform is your computer?
macOS (Apple Silicon)
What issue are you seeing?
The following UI actions do nothing when clicked:
Settingsローカルで作業/ Local Workブランチ切り替え/ Branch Switching
The app does not crash, but these actions are no-op.
Steps to reproduce
- Open the Codex desktop app
- Click
Settings - Click
ローカルで作業 - Click
ブランチ切り替え
What I already tried
- reinstalling the app
- downgrading the app
- restarting the app
- clearing cache / session storage
- cleaning local Codex state
The problem still reproduces.

Update: after restarting the Mac itself, the issue disappeared and the buttons started working again.
So in my case, reinstalling / downgrading the app did not help, but a full macOS reboot did.
