Latest Codex desktop update breaks Plugins page layout on macOS Intel
Environment
- Codex App: 26.506.31421
- Build: 2620
- Platform: macOS 12.7.6 (21H1320)
- Architecture: x86_64 / Intel
- Install source: latest Codex macOS x64 DMG
Summary
After upgrading Codex Desktop to the latest version, the Plugins page layout renders incorrectly. The page appears shifted/clipped: the hero area and plugin list/card content are partially blank, text is cut off, and only the right-side controls such as plus buttons remain visible in places.
This reproduces after reinstalling Codex. The issue appears similar to #18774, but still occurs on Codex App 26.506.31421.
Steps To Reproduce
- Install or upgrade to Codex App 26.506.31421 on macOS Intel.
- Open Codex.
- Navigate to the Plugins page.
- Observe the Plugins browse UI.
Expected
The Plugins page should render centered and fully visible, with the hero, search/filter controls, and plugin cards fitting within the window.
Actual
The Plugins page renders with large clipped/blank areas. Plugin cards are partially visible, with text cut off and controls floating on the right side.
Notes
- Reinstalling restores the app bundle but does not fix the Plugins page regression in the latest release.
- A screenshot from the affected app state shows the "Make Codex work your way" page with the plugin content clipped and shifted.
- I searched and found similar existing issue #18774; filing this separately to capture the latest
26.506.31421x64 regression details.
