VS Code extension stuck on Settings screen after latest update

What issue are you seeing?

After the latest update of the Codex VS Code extension, the sidebar appears to be stuck on the Settings screen. There is no visible way to navigate back to the chat view.

Even closing and reopening the sidebar does not reset the view. It always returns to the Settings screen.

The extension remains on the Settings screen. No back button, chat tab, or other visible navigation option is available. Reopening the sidebar still shows Settings.

The extension becomes unusable because the chat interface cannot be accessed.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

1. Open VS Code.
2. Open the Codex extension sidebar.
3. Try to return to the chat view.
4. Close and reopen the sidebar.

What is the expected behavior?

There should be a visible way to return from Settings to the chat view. Reopening the sidebar should either restore the previous usable chat view or provide navigation back to it.
