Codex using GPT5.3 Spark when it shows GPT5.5 being used

What issue are you seeing?

I used /goal on GPT 5.5 Medium, but noticed the speed was insanely high so I was suspicious.

After checking my usage page on chatgpt.com/codex/settings/usage I noticed my 5.3 spark usage decreasing, not my regular allowance.

I ran /status in the CLI and it showed GPT 5.5 Medium.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

What is the expected behavior?

GPT 5.5 Medium being used, ie the model I actually selected.
