What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

26.513.20950 (2816)

What subscription do you have?

Chatgpt Plus

What platform is your computer?

Darwin 24.3.0 x86_64 i386

What issue are you seeing?

In the Codex desktop app, a large blurred/dimmed rectangular area appears below the prompt textbox on the main chat screen. A similar blurred/blank overlay appears across content in the Plugins view, hiding or truncating plugin cards/list text and controls.

This makes parts of the app hard or impossible to read/use. Screenshots are attached.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Feedback ID: no-active-thread-019e28a4-2738-7361-8b5a-aa12f1bcda6c

  1. Open the Codex desktop app
  2. Go to the main New chat screen.
  3. Observe the area below the prompt textbox.
  4. Open Plugins from the sidebar.
  5. Observe the plugin list/cards area.

Actual result: a large blurred/dimmed rectangle appears below the main chat textbox, and a blurred/blank overlay appears over the Plugins screen content.

What is the expected behavior?

The main chat and Plugins views should render normally. There should not be a blurred overlay below the text boxes or over plugin cards/list content.
