What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?
Version 26.513.20950 (2816)
What subscription do you have?
Pro
What platform is your computer?
Darwin 25.4.0 arm64 arm
What issue are you seeing?
Trying to open a new chat session and typing @ just continuously shows a loading spinner

What steps can reproduce the bug?
I am unsure if this is related to me enabling "Codex mobile" or not, but I do have that setup.
- Open the app
- Type
@and see the perpetual loading, Plugins are not loaded at all
It is worth noting that when we type $ the skills show up correctly

What is the expected behavior?
Plugins should load and display when you try to mention them

same problem
same problem. chatgpt just told me that the new verison of codex used a dependency which is only avaliable on macos26:
`macOS 15.7.3 (24G419)
Codex Desktop updated on 2026-05-15
computer-use@openai-bundled 1.0.791
SkyComputerUseClient fails to launch:
dyld: Symbol not found: _swift_task_addPriorityEscalationHandler
Expected in: /usr/lib/swift/libswift_Concurrency.dylib
Binary metadata:
DTSDKName = macosx26.4
DTXcode = 2641
LSMinimumSystemVersion = 15.0`

Adding another reproduction detail for the same regression.
Observed behavior:
@opens the mention picker.Pluginssection asLoading plugins...and never populates plugin suggestions.@mention flow.+icon below the composer by choosingPluginsand scrolling the list.So this looks specifically like the
@mention/autocomplete plugin-loading path hanging, not a general inability to access installed plugins from the UI.Screenshot evidence from the repro shows the picker stuck at:
while the composer contains only
@.Closing this, it's been fixed for a long time
