What issue are you seeing?

Codex Desktop crashes immediately on launch before any UI appears.

Environment:

• Install path: /Applications/Codex.app

Actual behavior:
Codex Desktop exits immediately with EXC_BREAKPOINT (SIGTRAP) in Electron Framework / V8 / Node startup.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

1. Install or update Codex Desktop to 26.513.20950 (2816).
2. Launch Codex.app from /Applications.
3. The app crashes immediately before any visible UI appears.

What I tried:

• Rebooted macOS.
• Re-launched Codex.app.
• Collected full crash reports from ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports.
• Ran codesign / spctl / xattr diagnostics.

What is the expected behavior?

Codex Desktop should launch and show the main window or login screen.
