My default setting is to steer, so I use CMD+Enter to queue messages. However, when I return to my Mac hours later, the queued messages are not processed until I select the project from the left source panel.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
I have four active sessions for a single project, pinned to the left panel. Before leaving, I queue up simple instructions for two of these sessions with their own:
- Now do this.
- Now do that.
- Now check this.
When I return a few hours later (the computer never shuts down), I see blue ‘done’ icons in the left panel for all four sessions. However, only the Selected project that’s still visible has all my queued-up messages processed. When I select the other session with the blue dot, my last queued-up message is suddenly sent to Codex in front of my eyes. I can see that the last completion time was 3 hours ago, and the time of submission for this queued-up message was only 1 second ago.
What is the expected behavior?
Messages queued up for processing should be handled by every session, regardless of whether they’re actively being reviewed or not. I’ve been experiencing this issue for weeks, and I initially thought I was hallucinating until I noticed it again today. This time, the remaining work would have taken two hours, so I now have to wait for another few hours since I arrived after approximately four hours of leaving it to complete.
