What issue are you seeing?
I had 50% remaining for the last two days of my week yesterday and had planned to use it. I now have 95% with 7 days left and am back to managing it carefully.
I think a good way to manage this is to reset only for those who have less than their pro-rata'd usage remaining. If a user has 3 days left and 60% (i.e. >3/7) remaining, you do not reset theirs. If a user has 3 days left and 10% remaining, you reset theirs.

I strongly support this proposal.
I’m always very careful with my remaining quota. Most days, I actually use less than one seventh of my weekly allowance. So whenever everyone is celebrating that OpenAI has reset the limits again, cautious users like me are often thinking: “Great, the limit has been reset again. Now I have to start being careful from the beginning, so I don’t accidentally overuse it.”
