What feature would you like to see?
display model and approval mode in the bottom of the screen (and maybe sandbox mode or other status info). This is actually always nice to have, but its even more important when defaults are used or values from some config - user might not realise what value is being used.
Are you interested in implementing this feature?
if I'm given high level guidance of where to implement this, at least some hints.

For now, you can get that info by using the
/statuscommand inside the CLI. It will show you the model, approval mode, and other settings.What's the current state of this? Knowing at least the current model being used would be extremely helpful. I often forget which model I'm using. Surely it can't be that hard to support a basic status line type feature like claude code?
This feature request hasn't received many upvotes or additional posts in many months, so I'm going to close it out.
