What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

26.519.22136 (3003)

What subscription do you have?

Pro 20x

What platform is your computer?

MacOS - Darwin 25.3.0 arm64 arm

What issue are you seeing?

Prior to updating Codex Mac App, I had a couple devices connected in Settings → Connections → Control Other Devices. And from one primary machine I was successfully remote controlling sessions across those devices.

After updating, all my remote sessions disappeared from my sidebar, and all remote projects have a red warning icon to the right of them saying, "Remote control enrollment requires explicit authorization in settings."

What steps can reproduce the bug?

When I go into manage connections, I no longer see my other devices under "Devices you can control from this Mac". When I hit Set Up to try and reconnect those devices, it shows me the "Control other devices from this Mac pop-up" with the button to "Authorize on chatgpt.com". I click that, I log in, it says successful, but then it just shows me a blank state pop-up in Codex after connecting for "Add device", and then it says "No signed in devices available". If I close out of the "Add devices" pop-up and click the "Set up" button again, it makes me log in to OpenAI again fresh, and the loop continues unsuccessfully.

What is the expected behavior?
